How easy can I let this be?
For the past several months I’ve been stressing out about getting rid of my daughter's toys that she’s outgrown.
These toys are literally everywhere.
Blessings and gifts of 2021
For the past three months I’ve been leading a networking event during lunch for a group I’m volunteering for called Golden Gate Mothers Group.
I’ve been excited about this because I love networking and I’m really jazzed about it even during a virtual event.
my new year’s rituals
I don’t love setting New Year's resolutions.
The pressure that I didn't do it “right” and the probability that I’ll fail at it because it’s usually not grounded in what I actually want, it’s usually about what I think I should want or am supposed to want like work out 3-4 times/week or read 40 books this year (which I did in 2019) which focus on a quantity of things without a “why” behind.
How I’m creating holiday traditions with my toddler
My parents both have eight siblings.
I have over twenty cousins and most of them grew up in the same zip code as me.
Needless to say, my childhood gatherings were always a party.
what if it works?
I had been dating my unemployed boyfriend for only three months when he asked me to move from San Francisco to Boston for his new job.
So I did what I always did back then.
I asked everyone what their opinion was.
Do this by Friday.
A few weeks ago I asked you if you wanted to rest until next year and I’m proud to say that many of you said yes.
With that being said, I wanted to invite you (even if you’re resting) to take a sacred gratitude pause and do this one thing before the new year.
Allodoxaphobia is running your life and how to stop it.
I was reluctant to post on LinkedIn when I first started my business.
I didn't post for a long time for fear of what my former network and coworkers would think about my career transition.
What’s on your Joy List?
I’m so grateful that you’re here with me and continue to be around as I build my business empowering women to “have it all” without needing to “do it all.”
And when it comes to having that fulfilling career (and life!) ... I’m guessing you’re missing a very important part of the process.
winter is coming
Winter is for REST.
Soooo… if you are feeling INSPIRED AF to shift things in your career, want to take advantage of the very real Great Resignation (and have the energy to do so)... let's work together because my friend, I got the energy to make it happen for you.
how my client avoided being drained by family obligations
A few months ago, my client was feeling nervous about visiting her mom.
Sarah’s mom would always stress her the eff out from the moment she arrived at baggage claim.
On the drive home, her mom always asked incessant questions and immediately began a parade of complaining and blaming about anyone and everyone (including a lot of people my client didn’t even know!)
are you a city or country mouse?
On the other side of the bridge, within just a few minutes, the five of us were calm, relaxed and quietly riding in the car taking in the scenery.
This reminded me of ever-evolving and powerful cultures inside of workplaces.
Sometimes the workplace culture is busy, hustling and scrappy.
Be awesome like me.
Similarly to the email I sent a couple weeks ago about turning off my work brain: today is the day to start recording the projects that you’ve been working on and what you’ve been spending your time on.
