Get a job that fits your real life.
Summer break, sick days, and everything in between
Nor do you need to quit (yet). You and I both know summer camps and your mortgage depend on your income no matter how much you hate waking up for work on Mondays.
You just need the right structure, the right people, and someone who's already been in those rooms for you who can help you fit your job search into the 20 minute pockets of time between “I want a snack” and “put your shoes on already.”
Which is why I created Her Career Club—for you and other moms who need job search strategy and support from a community of moms who get it.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin your job search.
Meet your new mom friend, Nic Frick.
You're not stuck because you're not good enough.
You're stuck because you haven’t had a moment alone in the past 4 years to hear yourself think a full thought or complete a full sentence with another grown-up.
You've already read the LinkedIn posts. You've asked a friend of a friend. You've asked your new BFF Claude, "how to explain why I'm leaving without lying" and you’ve saved so many LinkedIn job postings after your kids went to bed (and will never go back to).
I spent years in tech recruiting, on the other side of the hiring table, watching who got hired and who didn't. The moms whose resumes undersold them. The pivoters who couldn't name what they were actually good at. Brilliant people passed over for reasons nobody ever told them—reasons I could see from where I was sitting.
That's what I bring here. Not a philosophy about clarity (though we’ll figure that out too!)—the actual fly on the wall discussion from inside hiring meetings like what the recruiter is thinking when your resume comes up, which "flexible" postings mean it, and what makes a hiring manager say “let’s talk comp.”
In my world, I believe that action creates clarity.
You don't need it all figured out to begin. You just need the right structure, the right people, and someone who's already been in those rooms to help you find the courage to get what the f’ck you actually want in your career and your life.
Did I mention I’m a Leo rising? Lol you could probably have guessed.
