In the midst of my vacation, a podcast that I recorded with the lovely Monica Rodgers, on The Revelation Project called, “Career Alignment with Nic Frick” went live yesterday.

And because I wanted to “stay offline” as a commitment to myself and my rest, I avoided really posting about it or sharing it. It felt wrong.

I’m writing to you today to reiterate my commitment to antiracism and dismantling White Supremacy. It is important to me as a white woman and business owner, who is committed to dismantling white supremacy, that I share this with you.

I haven’t spoken up yet (besides sharing stories on IG) because I wanted to get clearer on what I am personally doing to stop Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) hate and continue my personal anti-racism work.

I have been going live on Instagram every weekday since February 1st.

Time has really flown by for me and I love showing up authentically on IG to share my thoughts on Personal / Professional Development, Career Strategy and Radical Self-Love.

All week, I coach womxn who crave work-life balance, want to find a career that is meaningful and more flexibility and mental space to think about the life they actually want.

But when we start talking about boundaries, creating a plan, figuring out the next steps, taking action and getting results, a cloud of misery, shame and fear invades our call.

“IF ONLY WE'RE BRAVE ENOUGH TO BE IT”

And, that's where I get the gut punch.

Because I see where I'm playing small and not being brave.

I can see it.

I now need to BE it.

So, my love, as February approaches, it’s time for me to be brave.

I created a ritual that you can use to complete a vision board in less than an hour on your own.

Today has been challenging for me to focus.

It has probably been for you, too.
